MTod Driving is run by Margaret Tod, ADI.

 

 

 

My name is Margaret Tod and I am a fully qualified driving instructor based in Midlothian. I became an approved driving instructor in January 2011 and enjoyed working with a well-known national driving school for five years before deciding to set up my own driving school M Tod Driving in May 2016. Since 2011, I have helped hundreds of learners achieve their goal of passing their driving test.

I pride myself in my thorough teaching, which allows learners to be fully prepared when it comes to their test, and for their driving for years to come.

I provide a range of services including theory test learning materials, individual lessons, refresher courses, Pass Plus and motorway lessons.

I will accept pupils from Midlothian, Edinburgh city centre, south east Edinburgh and Musselburgh and arrangements can be made to collect and drop-off at convenient locations including your home, work, university, college or school.

 

COVID-19 precautions 

Although Covid restrictions have been lifted by DVSA, due to the close proximity in the car, my personal choice will be to continue to have the windows open (so please dress accordingly). I may also request that my students wear a mask in the car if COVID case numbers increase. If anyone feels in any way unwell, they should NOT attend a lesson. 

I wipe down all touch points before every change of driver to continue to keep myself and everyone in my car as safe and healthy as I can.

Monday 0800 - 1600

Tuesday 0800 - 1600

Wednesday 0800 - 1800

Thursday 0800 - 1800

Friday 0800 - 1500

Pass Plus, refresher and motorway lessons are also available on request.

 

Prices

 

Lessons cost £35 per hour and are usually 1.5 or 2 hrs.

Prepaid block booking of 10 hours cost £330.
